I get a lot of stress and anxiety, but I find that music sometimes calms me. A couple of weeks ago, I noticed that a cover of Bob Marley's 'No Woman, No Cry' song was one capable of easing my tensions. Since then, when dealing with stress or facing something that causes anxiety, I'll sing the song to myself. My brain responds particularly well to the 'everything's gonna be alright' part.

Yesterday, I was taking on a new class and typically stress and anxiety was high. So, before setting out, I sang the song to myself. That was that. I took the class, a couple of hours went by, and we were gathered quietly in the room finishing up what we were doing to head home. At that point, the instructor placed his phone to one side and put on a song.

There it was! Everything's gonna be alright, everything's gonna be alright! I didn't pick up on it right away but then it hit me. He was playing that song. A massive coincidence? Maybe, but what are the odds? I think someone was trying to tell me something. :wink:

Speaking of surprises Sunset Dragon, your song , well not exactly but a song that has the same specific lyrics " Everything's gonna be alright " sung by a female, not sure what the rest of the lyrics were because it was basically only that line that kept repeating itself. It was weird because the rest of the song just faded out of my reality....

There are a few areas of concern in my life, and I have been thinking about one in particular. Then out of the blue, I hear the lyrics " Everything's gonna be alright " and I immediately knew which concern it was talking about ! :smile: It was like a confirmation. And then .... less than 5 minutes later I get a phone call from someone who is part of the equation, let's say .... and they gave me good news also. Everything is headed in the right direction, and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel ! :smile:

It was just such a synch to hear these lyrics, which were meant originally for you .....thanks for sharing them with me too ! :hug3:
