Trees are dying
This is so big, and sad... I live on 10 acres in the woods, and began to see a white crust forming on the bark of the Beech trees, and it is caused by a bug which is killing the trees that have been here for centuries. Aspen and White Ash trees are effected too.
I love nature, and feel so lost.

It's very sad. I saw the damage in Alaska. It wiped out swaths of forest. However the good news is the trees are developing an immunity and making a comeback. Trees are tougher than we give them credit for. |

It's heartbreaking. The trees are our friends and protectors. They do more for us than we realise or give them credit for.
But it is the cycle of life.

60 mph wind gusts this morning so I had to clear some branches off the driveway this morning but nothing bigger, yet anyway. Gotta watch out driving down the road to work.
