Yes you have quoted this many times

But the question is, what about the people who do not know the Gospels ?

You said " Jesus taught "....... but you don't know this, what we could say which is more understandable is that the writers of the Gospels said that Jesus taught....... but we will never know.

More important is how you live your life not which Gospel you read/follow. If the Gospels are important to you then that is fine but there are other Religions that don't follow the Gospels and they have as much right as Christians etc: to connect with God in their own way, who are we to judge.

"You will know them by their fruits" is a very sensible quote.

Since the beginning of time we have had revelation after revelation regarding the end of the world and we are still here. Just enjoy each day as there is nothing much we can do about it anyway

We don't judge them--Gods written word has already judged all false religion to destruction--as well the bible warns--GET OUT OF HER( Babylon the great)

The--ONLY living ONES-- who will enter Gods kingdom are those who live now to do Gods will now. Matt 7:21. And this is the bottom line of doing that will---Jesus said---Man does not live by bread alone, but by every utterance from God. Those utterances are in the bible-OT-NT. Takes years to learn every utterance and apply them.

Even in Jesus day they believed the kingdom was coming then--They didn't have a clue as to what would be found in the Daniel-revelation prophecys--The 7th and final world power( two horned beast of Rev 13) had to be in place--this has been occurring for awhile now--We are at the end of the last days. Gods kingdom is at hand.

Does there seem to be a significant amount more politics than God in these interpretations of Rev? Is the entire sweeping gestures symbolism appropriate of the laws of absolutes?

First, God's Word is true, which He has protected and preserved in the world, and through the ages.
Who Jesus is, incarnate.

Second, people have often pointed in judgement to the Catholic Church, which has failed the Lord in different ways through the ages, but we all have in different ways, also. As the Word itself says.

No one is perfect. No one denomination either, including that, " 1% ", involving "The Watchtower", so called.
Saved means rescued, Grace means, "unmerited favor".

We can know we're in the last days, having to do with the global community and unity in the world, through technologies.
A "Tower of Babel" situation existing. All the world is, "Babylon".
What are we seeing regarding the weather? Climate? About which Jesus Himself spoke of in prophecy, as well as what we read elsewhere, such as in the Book of Revelation.

The "beast" and, "Babylon"? These both involve a united humanity and involving a political system, as someone already cited. The, "Mark of the Beast" is something which will be instituted and readily complied with by most of humanity, as an attempt towards safety, and self preservation.

I've often brought up the Wachowski's work as illustration of our situation, but one might cite other cinematic work also. Concerning "the beast", the movie, "The Island of Dr. Moreau" may be used.
Concerning Evolution, time is irrelevant compared with the greater reality of Eternity.
That which is apart from time, ( and space ).
Humanity is a fallen situation... fallen from unity with God and Heaven, and an angelic situation, and state. This organic, animal/mammal situation is the consequence of "the fall", which began in the angelic realm.
Physics also tell us today, since Einstein, that the material world in time and space is illusory. Or, "The Matrix".

A generated, and lesser reality.

Every kingdom( govt, armies, supporters)on earth will be mislead to stand in opposition to Gods king-Rev 16-Rev 19:17-19)
Gods kingdom is mankinds only remaining hope.

Hi Kjw47. What did you think about my suggestion that Babylon represents America based on the description of materialism from Revelation 18, and how the fall of America would leave England/France helpless to stop a Russia/China take-over of the UN security counsel?

The two horned beast of Rev 13=usa and the united kingdom( eagle-lion)

The description of Babylon is this--- Rides on the back of the beast= untaxed religions.
The merchants stand at a distance and mourn the fall of Babylon the great--because their shelves remain full( no more religious holidays)-- that means worldwide factory shelves remain full as well= worldwide layoffs--the start of the tribulation.

The mark on the hand = physical support--The mark on the head = mental support of the beast. Cannot buy or sell= sanctions.

In the New Testament (e. g. 1 Peter 5:13) and the Judaism of late antiquity, "Babylon" is a symbol for Rome. No one dared attack Rome by name; so they used a more ancient empire capital as a substitute symbol.
In Hebrew each letter also stands for a number. If you write "emperor Nero" in Hebrew letters and add them up, the total is 666 (see the symbolic Beast in Revelation 13:18). This Beast is mortally wounded but miraculously restored to life by Satan (13:3) to continue his persecution of believers. Contemporary ancient Roman historians reported rumors that Nero was dead and conflicting rumors that he was brought back to life and would march on Rome to reclaim his empire. They report that there were 3 Nero impersonators! So Revelation are talking about symbolism of the Roman empire, not the Vatican! The relevance of this to modern times need not detain us here. I don't want to get long-winded!
