black cat vision today (yeah, cliched, I know!)

Can't believe this just happened to me.

Was out mowing the yard today. Was a little upset over a couple of things.
It was bright noon. As I was mowing by the hedge, all of a sudden, I swear I saw a black cat dart out of the bushes not three feet from me, (a little above and to the left) and come at me and dive UNDER the lawn tractor, into the mower deck where the blades whirl!

I screamed, figuring I had killed a neighbor's cat, and took my foot off the gas. It took me a second to realize that it hadn't really happened, that it was something I "saw" in vision form.

I don't usually see things at ALL (although sometimes I hear them in my left ear) . So this freaks me out a little.

And I mean, of all things, why did it have to be a BLACK cat? What a cliche. Or at least, when I think of black cats, I think of a witches familiar.

Any interpretation anyone? what da heck happened?

A few gusses might be a ghost cat , an astral critter of some kind , a human generated thought form .
