Someone is killing me in my dreams

For two straight nights, I dreamed someone was trying to kill me. The first night, a group of people set my house on fire in the middle of the night. The second night, someone was shooting at me while I was going to work.

Should I be worried? Could this be a warning?

Sounds horrific, LifeSpecialist.
If you have issues with people at work or outside of work that would warrant such a thing, I'd say worry, but it's probably doubtful, right? So it could be merely symbolic or some long burried notions in your subconscious that have had a chance to rise to the surface during sleep (I find that I dream more when I'm relaxed, which I've found myself to be more so lately, I cover my alarm clock so the glow of the lights don't distract me, closing the door to shut off more light, etc.) Just some ideas...

Death in our dreams is rarely literal but rather more symbolic of a transition. I see two possible options for these dreams. You either feel as though you are being attacked or bullied at work and this is making you feel angry and threatened or you are initiating a change within yourself related to your job or career aspirations and there is a part of you that is scared of this transition as though it would mean the end of you. Either way just know it will all work itself out in the end.

Love,
Michelle

The dream could relate to how you are feeling in a real life situation.

Death is usually symbolic of rebirth or reawakening or just transition in general. I would not worry, the one time I have died in a dream was the single most powerful spiritual experience I have ever had.

Face your fear

Your dreams seem to indicate you are changing something in your life and your subconscious is telling you that your perception will change.

Attempts to kill you apparently haven't succeeded, but you haven't identified who it is that is trying. When you are going to sleep, ask for a dream that lets you face the killer. When you face your fear, you usually find it isn't to be feared at all.
