Thank you Joe for your lovely words.
Even though it's sad, I personally have some beautiful and happy memories of her.
And I know she will be waiting for me one day.
Then we can make more happy memories in heaven !!!

At our house, happy moments are like waves inching up on a Sandy beach, subtly filling our hearts and warming our souls. These memories are etched into our memories.
One such happy moment was watching my son go through airport security by himself on his way to university in another country. In that moment he proved every person who doubted him wrong. He soared right through the barriers people wrapped around him with their labels and low expectations. (Tears streamed down my face all the way out of the airport, to the car park and half way home, not out of sadness, but pure joy.) The drive home from the airport was hours long and we shared our remembrances of his younger years and pinch ourselves over where he was at this moment, happily amazed!

Yep... I think you're just lazy LOL....
Oh but it evokes the most amazing and happy memories for me which is a similar thing...
ALL of my working life ( and I do mean millions of decades , or that's how it felt) I never ever got weekends, evenings, Christmas , new year off. I never worked in a "9 to 5 " industry and therefore never experienced that "Friday feeling " , and certainly I never got bank holidays off.
But ooohhhhh, until I got made redundant and found a job that was like finding buried treasure .
I felt like I had won the lottery.
It was still in catering. A new contract in the most charming brick built building on the junction of the river / canal and a lock right outside my window.
These were head offices of a prestigious mens wear company to royalty and the rich and famous . And, I went straight in as management !!! Not only that, I was able to recruit my own "staff" which just happened to be my best friend from the previous catering job.
But because it was a management/ director complex of offices they only opened mon- Fri. No evenings, no bank hols, no weekends, no Christmas !!!!
These to me were "luxuries " that I had never before experienced.... Pure heaven....
