Stuck getting shoes on & teeth falling out

Odd dream the other night...

The first one was I was with my best friends wife and he asked me to look after her making sure she would get to where she needed to go, which I don't recall exactly where it was she had to be.

We were in an alleyway going down it as a shortcut to the place she was going and I went in a shop to put my shoe on as it came off my foot. I was trying to put my shoe on for absolutely ages - it just wouldn't go on, and my friends wife was asking me to hurry up, but still it wouldn't go on... she then left without me.

Then I had a dream that two teeth fell out. One initially, which fell into my hand, then another one shortly after. I didn't react shocked in the dream, I felt confused.

Any ideas?

i'm not getting a handle on what the dream is speaking to.
it involves you being tasked with performing duties for another
(perhaps as a favor?), going the 'back way' as a shortcut, and
being unable to complete your mission due to the circumstances
of how you navigate through life (the loose shoe).
the whole episode seems to act as a learning experience, since
i feel the loss of teeth is making way for new growth (they were
'baby teeth').

They were two separate dreams, but thank you, the teeth one makes sense. I am experiencing a new stage of growth for sure so that makes sense.
