DoublyVenomous: Help me to get over childish thinking
thinking is a mental process, so we can ignore the physical, emotional, and
spiritual aspects of self and focus on the mind. to address your predicament,
i propose that you set your imagination to some point in the future. what
type of thoughts would you wish to be having after having evolved into a
more healthy expression of yourself? write it out if you want to. from that
point of reference, work backwards, devolving into your current state of mind.
can you get a sense of which mental constructs need to be added or subtracted
during that evolutionary process?
you're a natural fighter, so there's no excuse for you to throw in the towel and
surrender to a never-ending loop of frustrations... you can break free.
there's also no need for you to attack every challenge head on... explore
aikido if you want inspiration for how to avoid attacks, and redirect that
energy onto it's source or harmlessly away.
[Aikido is often translated as "the way of unifying (with) life energy",
or as "the way of harmonious spirit"
