October: Lenormand/Card Challenge!

Who wants to play? This is a Lenormand oriented game, however, you can use Tarot if you wish. With Lenormand there is more than 1 pull (2-3 spread) but you can use 1 card. Rules what rules, right? Use which ever cards/method your drawn to,

Nice! I always like these
If you don't mind, I do both Tarot and Lenormand, hoping this will give me deeper insight in the Lenormand.

1. What is my most important lesson this month?
Two of Chalices:
Emotional balance -esp concerning relationship-, and enjoying life.

Rider 1 & Child 13
Lighten up my inner conversation, be more open, playful and trusting.

ooh! I'll play!

1) What is my most important lesson this month?
Lily - Tree
'Wisdom' and 'Vitality' apparently. I'm taking this as a sign that it's wise to be pretty detatched and calm (esp with my work situation!!!) and focus on remaining grounded. Lots of meditation ahead, I think :)

* RWS
5 of cups rev, Ace of Swords, Devil rev

Recovering from recent hurts and figuring out my next move (most likely involving extricating myself from my job). On a more literal level this could also indicate putting my emotions on the side slightly and focusing more on being mentally clear, pushing anything not absolutely necessary from my life (devil reversed usually means "unshackling" to me, especially in regards to unhealthy practices).

Heart & Bear: Courage in allowing the flow of love be friends or family. On another note, not a time to fall into co dependency patterns while doing so however, the Bear says it all: stay strong, love is patient, love is kind

Tarot: Seven of wands; challenges in the road I need to internally/mentally overcome, more on a professional level so daily affirmations will work with this I feel. I want to get the Abraham Hicks daily affirmation cards to work with

I'm using Ciro's Fin de Siecle Kipper.

What is my most important lesson this month?

Distant Horizons, Change, Privileged Lady

My most important lesson this month is to learn to re-evaluate my hopes and desires. It's good to have goals and it's ok to let some of them go or redevelop them if I'm content and satisfied with where I currently am.

Very true. The hopes I had 10 years ago are very different to what I'm striving for now. It doesn't mean I gave up, I just had to change routes to my ultimate destination, sometimes stopping off for a while to do some sightseeing.

Day 2
If I had no fear I would......

House, Gift, Child

I'd give up the security of a paid job and secure housing to live a simpler life.

I've often thought of downsizing and living a self sustaining life in a smallholding located in the middle of nowhere. Alas being far from my family and the fear of failing stops me pursuing that life .

2. If I had no fear I would......

* Dondorf Lenormand
Fish - Heart
HAHA. Apparently if I had no fear I would totally be putting myself out there, chasing all the love opportunities in the world. This is probably true. So really, I only have myself to blame for being single

*RWS
10 of Cups rev, Ace of Wands rev, 4 of Pent rev
I know I'm around people not of my kind, that things won't get better, and there's really no long-term future here for me. I'm guessing the cards here are saying that I'm holding myself in a position that's not good for me for security reasons (money!), and it would be braver to just ditch it without an exit plan.

Fearless? Yes. Wise though? Questionable. But yes RWS I agree, it would be a very ballsy move

One would expect gloriously positive cards, but no... LOL

Nature 15 (Devil): I'd dump self-imposed restrictions and control and live and decide from freedom. And be far happier, grin.

Drew extra card, couldn't live with just this Devil:
Page of Cups: Yes, I'd be much happier, emotionally stable and able to be me. Loving, happy, creating.

Fox & Snake & Stork (couldn't make it work without a 3rd card):
Similar to Nature: I'd let go of distrust, doubt and fear and be happy as a lark, err.. stork.
