An example. Was Jesus a realized being. Was Buddha a realized being. If Buddha had been quiet would there Buddhism. If Jesus had just conformed and been quiet would they have died. Sorry, I'm just not sure it's about that all the time. There's a certain amount of real reality.

To speak out requires you to invest in what you do and could mean much discomfort and sacrifice. Let other's do it.

It's interesting that you should specifically mention both Buddha and Jesus. Vivekinanda identified those two as the two greatest spiritual teachers in history albeit with different approaches. They are two of my favorites as well.

There are exceptions to every rule. There are those who are inspired to speak to raise the consciousness of the masses and others who manifest mysteriously and vanish in an equally mysterious way when the student is ready to proceed further. As the expression goes, the teacher appears when the student is ready.

As for silent communication, I have had at least two experiences (with witnesses) where a sage communicated in total silence for a prolonged period of time. One was a Taoist Master in Chengdu, China, and the other was what appeared to be a perfectly ordinary person at the Khumba Mela in Haridwar, India. This does, however, require that the mind of the receiver be still and clear.

Your comments are well-taken.

P.S. As for whether Buddha or Jesus were self-realized, I don't know. I do not feel equal to judging them in that manner. Perhaps, I should not have used the term "self-realized" in the first place.

If they don't need words to communicate, then why need to be present at all?

I think they need to step it up a bit. We could sure use the help.

Question Communicating What Via Telepathy

We communicate information with words sounds or images and numbers.

That some people may communicate the above set of four via telepathy is not to do as much with spirit-of-intent as does what specifically is the spirit-of-intent of that is being communicated.

If communicating is lies and misinformation to others, then the spirit-of-intent is......

If communicating information is to macro-irrelevant or too micro-irrelevant it it may not pertain to local relevant needs of individual, humanity or ecological systems that sustain them.

They don't - at least not physically. Recently I was meditating I an ashram in which the Guru who founded it had died (left body) before. While a few of us were meditating he showed up in Spirit and help space for us with telepathic encouragement and delight we'd come.

As someone else mentioned - it does require silence of the heart and mind to hear those who communicate telepathically. I suspect many of the greats came into body in the physical because so few of us can silence our own minds long enough to hear and we need help to learn how to do it. A living person in the flesh exuding love and encouragement helps us to accomplish it and not give up. They serve as 'proof of concept.'

That is exactly the point. It is not necessary to be physically present to communicate.

Read Edgar Cayce's "The Psychic Sense". It addresses communication of this nature in general and even addresses such communication with those who have passed on and are no longer physically present.

For all those who could "use the help", such people are all around and available to help. It's just that most don't recognize them because they expect them to be in "proper uniform" in the churches or temples or whatever. When the priority is right and the receptive stillness is there, the right beings appear quite naturally to "help".
