Animals eventually progress or evolve enough to take a human birth.

You need to read 'The Tibetan Book of the Dead'. This 'new age' way of thinking has taken over our understanding of Buddhist thought and turned it into a 'nice' philosophy.

What does it say about this subject?

How could an animal grow or become more aware, less ignorant?
It really can't, what am I missing?

Okay, who is actually saying that animals aren't "aware", or "aware that they are aware"?

They appear to live parallel existences to us and we often do not have a language in common. So there is much we miss, sadly. Of course all creatures speak to us or are capable of doing but we unfortunately cannot 'speak' their language, so we assume they know very little?
In which case it is OUR awareness which needs attention!

They have great intelligence, many of them. But of course regarding intellect they do not have that kind of attunement as humans have. They are on a different course.

Yet they are strong in Soul in the afterlife (that is -outside of the physical form), are conscious, VERY aware, and are at different levels of spiritual attainment (just as we are) Paradoxically it is often the most spiritual who adhere to the simpler purer principles.....

Hello Tobi.

I was reflecting through your sharing so I am just letting it fall from me..
Seeing more directly the nature of what is, one only notices where they themselves are aware and can notice. Of course potential of all humans is that we can all be more open to what is there through many offerings in life as it is.

Communication and listening are tied together so intricately, that I have decided that when I listen deeper in myself to my own nature , the nature of others, whether human or animals, expresses itself more directly to me as it is. It shows me what it is, I decide how to interact and be one with animals as I am. To sit and observe and animal in its own environment and how it interacts and behaves in the natural world, both in it's presence just being and then observing the way it moves and interacts with other life, one will notice that animals and humans have two major differences. But we are one and the same. As I believe all life is. We are all connected and how we value that connection of life aware of what life is being and doing as it is, is what is important. How do I value myself in this view? How do I value other life forms in this view? In the deeper meaning we take from being open to life as it is, we can listen like animals do and learn to live more in harmony with nature more naturally aware of all life.

MY awareness in the understandings of soul and who goes where and does what, is less important to me, than knowing the importance of all life on this earth supporting and interacting as one source.

The true self is understands all life. Observes itself in all ways so naturally it then can observe others in their ways of being. Understanding life is what builds deeper meaning in all ways life is being itself. In all ways life is aware or not aware. If I am aware it is up to me to make choices according to my awareness.

It can , like Tobi have said , but in its world , animals only eating anothers , the strong will survive so it's very hard for them to become human .

This is not right , in fact , most human reincarnate to lower realms for their No-Good Behaviour .
Like : You have to have good thought , good karma , good way of talking to others people to be born Human again , or to be born to heaven . Otherwise , you going to lower realms , that includes animals realm .

I don't believe humans reincarnate as something else at all.
I think unresolved parts of us stay behind to come to fulfillment. Those parts may be picked up by other living beings to aid in the completion process. But you as a self aware ego, won't be you any longer after death.. So what exactly is the part that reincarnates and where is up for discussion.

That would be you.
In craving for something you create a thought form that has no other option than to come to be. Being the creator soul you are. So if you don't fulfill the thought form yourself. It will find another resonate soul that can aid it to fulfillment or deconstrustion. possibly.

With this kind of thought you think you will stay human or something better forever after death even if you Kill people , Rape , or Take someone else 's properties without their permission ? No , that kind of thought only lead you to hell , you are just lucky to be born human . And if you do no -good thing you go back , that 's how it is whether you believe it or not . You know how many animals on earth and how many creatures living within the sea ? Much much more than the number of human , also include very small creatures .
In my language , it's pretty clear , maybe when Buddha 's teaching were translated into English it being translated wrong , i just joined the forum and i saw people have very little to no knowledge at all .

If you think people have no knowledge of Buddhism on here would you like to point out what you think is incorrect ?
