Laburnum info needed please

Hi there

I hope someone can help, please. Bit of background - I have had various health problems (ladies issues, headaches, backache, sinus) and have been very down for a long time. I have been doing a lot of inner work and none of it is helping me shift out of the low space I am in. I have also been trying to lose weight for years now, and nothing is helping, including the inner work I have been doing. I have been working with a homeopath for a while now - and she is quite frustrated because nothing is shifting as she expected it would.

Anyway, I have also been trying to connect with non-physical and struggled with that. But last night I had a dream I can actually remember - yay! I dreamed I was at a workshop/healing/meditation type thing. There were quite a lot of people lying on mattresses and there was a lady in charge of the healing. I spoke to her and told her that nothing was changing and she said I need to take laburnum. That was it.

I have tried to do some research on this, but am struggling to find indications treated by this. I did find that there is a homeopathic remedy and there is a flower remedy. I am tempted to get that as I love working with the gentleness of the flower remedies. But I also saw that there are different types of laburnum used in remedies and I don't know which to get. I will chat to the homeopath, but I was wondering if anyone had thoughts or information that could help.

Laburnum is poisonous so I would advise caution on that one.

It could just be that you are generally run down, or suffering from glandular issues/imbalances.

What diet are you following may I ask? I feel this is the right path you need to take at this time. Much as the flower remedies have value on the spiritual and psychic levels, to those who are sensitive enough to attune to their healing properties, this is a physical issue and needs addressing physically.
The harvest of Mother Nature (natural foods) - and ginseng might help you (Siberian ginseng is more suited to women than Korean.)

Hi there, I eat a diet mainly of raw vegetables and protein, such as fish. I am not militantly strict with my diet, but I do try to be sensible and eat fresh and organic when I can. I also supplement with vitamins and minerals that I feel I need. I will have a look at Ginseng.

Knightofalbion is quite correct when he says that Laburnum is poisonous. Please don't even consider taking it as a herbal remedy!

However, it's possible there is a HOMEOPATHIC remedy made from Laburnum. As Homeopathic remedies can be made from many things. toxic and non-toxic. Maybe it might be an idea to consult a qualified Homeopath if that interests you?

I wasn't considering taking it as a herbal remedy - I am fully aware it is poisonous. And I was quite clear in my OP that I was looking at homeopathic remedies and flower remedies. I also said I was working with a homeopath.

I did manage get some tree essence. And just in case you are worried, it is similar to flower remedies. I was hoping that someone had some input on the qualities of Laburnum in a spiritual sense.

I think this tree has a worse reputation than it should have, it is not as poisonous as many other plants we have in the garden.

I think the stigma comes maybe from small children eating large quantities of the seeds thinking they were peas.

According to this website nicotine is more dangerous

(I have had two dreams recently to inform me to take certain herbal remedies, one for Hibiscus flowers and one for Papain )

On the subject of poisons I just found out Chicory is also poisonous in large quantities.

Thanks for that @Podshell. Very interesting. I did see there that the flowers mean 'forsaken, pensive beauty'. I have also seen it referred to as forsaken elsewhere. Not really the best message to get
