How present are you?

There are 3600 minutes in a day. On an average if we sleep 8 hours that leaves 960 minutes of wake time. What portion of this wake time do you think you are present/living-in-now/conscious?

I am probably much older than you...and have meditated for, um..45 yrs often for 3-6 hrs a sitting...so I'm pretty darn present!!!!
I am a reader of Abraham-Hicks and am BIG in feeling the best feelings all the time ...
this has gone on for maybe 10 yrs...
I also practice Thought Control since about 2007...so any thought that is useless...I wave away with my hand...
Present...happy...connected to the Divine Presence...aware of Awareness?
Oh yeah.
What else is one going to do ...eat popcorn...or DO something with this life?

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

"Living-in-now" may sound evolved, but, as far as I know, using your imagination is more important for evolving than "living-in-now".

"Living-in-now" is just a tool to take control of your thoughts, not a purpose in itself.

But why do you think you have to move-out of the present to figure that. I think your understanding of living-in-presence is wrong.

My definition of living-in-present means focusing on the job at hand and nothing else. Living the now/present does not mean you have to be in meditation. You could be crunching numbers or driving a car or giving your cat a bath and still be present while doing these things. Am i wrong?

Yes. Good point!
And, aren't you 'in the now' when you are imagining?!!!!
I learned that from Abraham-Hicks...if a person is happy 'in the now' thinking of their vacation coming up...
they are still happy in that moment...Hahaha, Lol ....it makes me laugh as to how accurate and simple that is.

It really was a fun statement from them.

Just be happy...think about the past, the future, some imaginary dream...who cares...feel good all the time, however
you can manage that, I say.

Yes, using your imagination has been said to be like laying the tracks for your future...very important, too...
and enjoy yourself in the moment of imagining right now! Ha!

Possibly even in the now-continuum cognition contains a perceptional residuum

Unless we lose sensation of all resonations other than the Divine Love vibration

Ramana ...
