So what compelled you to click on this thread? I read in a neuroscience article recently about how people fixate on infamous people. Supposedly, if a person is told something bad/negative about someone they will stare at pictures of their faces several times longer. I was thinking it may be more than that, people just might be compelled to fixate on ridiculous things. (Take the tabloids for instance). I was thinking it probably comes from the same place, but I wonder why that is?
