90 Years A Vegan

This lovely lady passed over in 2012. She lived since 1922 as a vegan.

You know, a recent study and research bore out that Vegetarians are actually more prone to illnesses. Especially it seems, regarding the gut.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-2596012/Vegetarians-healthy-poorer-quality-life-meat-eaters.html

Then you have some who have smoked, also, well into the 80's and 90's. - Explanation?

Hereditary traits, Genetics, and DNA.

We've been told also, that it was the ancient descendants in human evolution consumation of meat, which allowed for humankind to evolve to the intelligent and superior condition over other competitive species, aiding the faster development of the larger brain size, per body mass ratio.

The descent down from the trees, onto ground, and the consumation of high quality meat protien.

Daily Mail again Morpheus? I don't believe it.

Vegetarians and Vegans are 12% less likely to die over a designated period.
http://www.caloriesecrets.net/does-a...fe-expectancy/

From this study:

"The different classes of vegetarians were also considered separately and it was found that when compared to non-vegetarians, pesco vegetarians had a reduced risk of heart disease, non-cancer and non-cardiovascular forms of death, lacto-ovo vegetarians had a lower risk of all causes of mortality and vegans had a reduced risk of non-cancer and non-cardiovascular related death. Overall, it seemed that the risk reduction was greater in men than in women."

Fish Life is for living.

Yeah I just don't like the idea of eating dead animal meat.

Even the sound of it makes my heart give a shudder and a beat.

Not only did this lady seem to be doing well physically considering she was 108 (look at her skin!) but she seemed to be doing well mentally also.

You don't... Sorry. Forgot you were biased against the Daily Mail.

A source:
http://atlanta.cbslocal.com/2014/04/01/study-vegetarians-less-healthy-lower-quality-of-life-than-meat-eaters/

"Vegetarians are 50 per cent more likely to get cancer and to have heart attacks. They are also more likely to have allergies and to suffer from anxiety and depression."

However, are they referriing to Vegetarians? Or, the stricter "Vegans", who pass up even cheese, and fish?
Sometimes they are lumped together.

The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine seems to be quite positive about vegetarian and vegan diets.

Wow where do I start um....... and what about the way they are bred for a start .
And the chemicals they pump into the poor innocent creatures.
And the suffering and pain
Have you ever eaten dead flesh not really like the taste or smell of fruit.
Don't really seem that natural to me
