Reincarnation and the Bible

I have recently read an online book called "The Present" by the Global Truth Project. Much like this site, the people behind it keep confidentiality to focus on the ideas themselves and what is actually true.

I am not sure I believe everything in the book, but it talks about famous minds like Jesus, Einstein, the Buddha, Gandhi, Nietszche, and more and the connections between their ideas that imply they are true (because the book points out they had false ideas also).

The ideas connect back to the ways that the Bible still gets misinterpreted when it comes to life and death and is a very interesting read. I am still testing out the ideas in my own life and my life has changed for the better because of them. I recommend any Christian read this book (and read the one specifically about Christianity, "The Present (with religion)" AFTER reading just "The Present" because the ideas build on each other.

And this is coming from someone who was atheist my entire childhood, so (true) Christianity has opened up my mind for the better.

Ha Ha! A lot of that is just rumors.

I did visit that website you mentioned. There was an article there by Lee Brainard. He/She understands “exactly” what “The Mark of the Beast” is. I’ve known what it is for the past 8 years.

I do know that there are others out there who have already received the Mark. The greater concern is that something like ... “how to receive the Mark” might go viral because it’s more akin to a terrorists secret. So there are select groups out there trying to figure out some way to police it in the event something like that were to happen.

But as far as some person stepping forward and using the Mark as some platform ... I’ll believe that when I see it. Out of the handful of people who have already received the Mark, I seriously doubt that there was a single one of them that were foolish enough to try that again, understanding the fact that the Angels were trying to fry them the first time (The Angels wage war against the Dragon).

Yeah, there are verses in The Bible which make it sound like the person can get away with performing that feat again and again. But if I were that person, I wouldn’t trust those verses when Rev 13:8 also mentions this ...

To be honest, i never have or will read ANY remotely modern book about Christianity. The height of literature was reached in the middle ages, among the great mystics like St Theresa, Ekhard, Hadewich. Everything else pales beside them. With modern books you get an agenda as everything is politicized now. I don't see the value in these modern books
