New to crystals - need advice on awakening/dedicating them

Hi all,

I am new to crystals, and a lovely lady in my town agreed to meet me today and allowed me to choose a few that spoke to me.

The ones I chose were herkimer quartz, sugilite, and kyanite.

I was hoping to let them bathe in the (almost) full moon tonight. Is there anything else I should do in order to prepare them for their purpose (which is to help me conquer a third-eye block)?

Personally for light charging I use moonlight- I do not use sunlight.

For other means of blessings charging, I use incense and smudge the stones.

I also have used personal energy for certain objects I make or have. This involves a visualizing technique. Lately I have visualized lights- or energy if you will of certain colors.

However I am sure there are other visualizing methods.

Do not be afraid to be creative in your choice of preparation, I feel the more we relate to what we are doing, and bring ourselves into a place where we are a part of it so to speak, the better we resonate ourselves to what it is we are doing, and in those hopes achieve better results.
