You, Who you were looking for

Did you not know
that it was you,
you who you were
looking for all along ?
You who remained hidden
for so long
Covered by a veil ?

Who told you it wasn't so ?
The great organs of humankind ?
The state of relations
hateful and kind ?
Who told you it wasn't so ?

Who is this one who lives
inside of all ?
Who never dies or
who is never born
at all ?
Who can disgard the world
in the twinkle of an eye
or who can embrace the world
forever more ?

The riddles of the flesh
The beauty in natures eyes
The open hearted one
arrived
But never called
Arrived but never arrived
never called but sang
at the well of song
You !
You who you were
looking for !

Thank you for your very nice comment Emeraldheart, I'm really glad that the words resonated with you. May I ask if your name has anything to do with Ireland ? I live in Ireland by the way so thats why im curious ? Or does it relate to something else completely lol ?

No connection to Ireland but I would love to visit one day.

I've been writting about visions of the 'emerald heart' for ages and didn't know why until this year... I was channeling the future of my 'home coming'... through the emerald heart
It has been a really wonderful experience and so your words here just grabbed me!

Plus I love green... and my body loves being surrounded by green life haha.... its a very 'absorbing' kind of colour... gets into my cells. I must be a plant human/hybrid haha.

Thanks Joe

If you love green then you'd be very much at home here, where we have 40 shades of green. Johnny Cash wrote that song 40 shades of green, inspired by the view from his aeroplane as it fly over Ireland. Don't know why he chose the number 40 though, probably caused it rhymed lol

I like the idea and words of the Emerald Heart's journeying home. Sounds good. Mysterious. WB Yeats a very famous Irish poet also wrote these nice lines. He said,

O outworn heart,
In a time outworn
Come clear of the nets
of wrong and right
Laugh Heart in the
Grey twilight

I recorded myself reading this poem, Into the Twilight, this morning as I couldn't find a suitable copy on youtube to send to you. :) hope you like it.
Forgive the quality of the sound etc.

So thank you for reminding me of those lines, they sound like a spell. Yes you will get to visit Ireland in the future if it be your wish and you will be very welcomed. :) So thanks again, for your nice comment. Joe.
