I was going to comment with something thoughtful and considered and then I realised that I don't even care that much about what I think, let alone what others think of me lol
Haha. Though, honestly, it is human to care what others think about us because we are socially primed to not be isolated by our group so we need to care to a certain extent in case we are doing something which might ostracise us from our group.
From a basic biological point of view, if we are to survive as a species so it is in our interests to care up what others think up to a certain point.
But... In saying all that if we care less about being attached to our own thoughts, beliefs and perceptions of who we "think" we are it is easier to care less about what you think other people might be thinking about you...
Or at least recognise our shared human vulnerability and understand that those who are worth our time will recognise their own and our own value beyond fear and judgment.
Personally I find that my thoughts and beliefs about myself are always changing and I can't hold onto them anyway.
I expect that those who truly love me won't hold me to them either.

That's funny. Seems you did write something thoughtful and considered though
I'm sure I read in your post about wondering who said this quote. Must have been another thread. Oh well, here it is.
What people in the world think of you is really none of your business - Martha Graham

Lol.... Thank you for noticing my pre-edited post!
For the life of me I just couldn't get my words to flow and while trying to edit my post so that it flowed better, I omitted the quote.
I'm practicing sticking to one or two. "main points" in my communication rather then jumping around like a hungry circus flea
I currently have "learner plates" for this skill set. Lol

Generally,i think, and it may become a point in time for some, that nothing matters.
And i mean non attachment from everything, beliefs, what others think etc.
Problem is,we are conditioned and programmed to think in some way and conform to a so-called righteous society and media dictations etc.
Hard for most to distance and see beyond the forest.

I jumped aboard the nihilism train the other day... Destination nowhere
I figured that I might jump on another train to somewhere of my own making afterwards, seems that I'm on the earth and alive and have nowhere else pressing to be... Or do lol.
