Again...
Left my wallet in
The recycle bin.

Butted in to a conversation about
Cars to tell a random story about
My former life behind bars...

Was 15 minutes late to
An appointment which
Was scheduled for the next day...

Met a new person but
When they asked me
I forgot my name.

Left my credit card in
The express lane of the
Supermarket because I
Got distracted by a flashing
Kids toy which I saw in someone
Else's shopping basket.

Made a socially inappropriate comment
Then slowly backed away while attempting
To distract you with a comment
About the weather...
Oh, hey... Check out this
Cool feather I just found in my
Pocket...


Today is just
Another normal day...


Just roll with it...
Maybe I might be a huge pain
In your butt...
And the butt of all your jokes...
But... You know,
I'm keepin' it real...

Don't steal my thunder...
Just roll with it.

You'll be alright...
I promise it's not contagious...
So don't let it
keep you up at night...
Awake in fright.

Not that percentages really make any difference to this point.

It's weird how people use percentages to measure immeasurable things, I just realised that now.

Darn it...

I forget what I wanted to say

Because my mind went away on vacay...

It had a tour to the realm of the living...

It's weird how living feels

Rather passive as it is

So free from intention or thinking.

I came back with a souvenir...

A real treat, it cost me

Nothing which is good

Because I have no cents...

To my name...

And no sense to return it...

The ticket said

'non refundable'...

So I'll have to keep it...

It won't take up much space anyway...

Because it is actually nothing

Because I went nowhere...

And I have no photos to prove I was there...

The real souvineir was a feeling of
Pretend superiourity
That my vacation was
In fact better then yours
I know how much you all like to
Compare competitive vacation stories...
On instagram...
About enlightening experience to foreign shores...
Or riding cosmic waves on long boards...

So I won't deny you of that
Pleasure of being better then someone else...

But I'd just like to point out that

My vacation was free and
Exerted zero carbon miles and it
required no effort from me...

(I. Am. Eternally. Amused).

Real souviner
Is space to be amused
And time to sit without
Agenda.

A ship has arrived in the habour
I have waited with my ticket in hand
It was the waiting which
Prepared me for
This holiday....

Will I stay or go?
It matters not
For I've forgotten all

Seem so boring.
I don't mind...

Is full of blank pages.

Spirals and psychedelic shells
Spring from the pool wealth -
Endless pools of freedom,
Inside a feeling of bliss.

What brought me here?
To this I can only question.

What will you find here
As you swim around these
Pools of bliss?

Perhaps a new beginning to
Dream new psychedelic dreams,
Creating new forms from pure energy...

Perhaps you will find
None of what your seek,
In which case just sit and listen
Breath and be...

Knowing that these spirals
Last forever,
Flowing like a stream.

I wrote some of 'spirals" when I was 15. When I was often quite depressed and felt like I'd like to no longer feel any pain, every now and then I'd tap into the stream of remembrance. Must have been important cause it lodged into the brain.

Our sense of spirit...

Some people share their stories to
Help us connect and blend

I am a keeper of stories and a witness of
Stories ever unfolding...

I listen to all of your stories and
I bend to their will...

Inspired by life's constant motion.

I am the flame which
Is fed by driftwood...

I am the beat of drums,

The swirl of the flame...

I am the dance which

Unleashed and untamed by
The life which created me.

I am a story
Which was conjured up
Between the love of
Divine Mother and Father...

I am a the cause of great fright and a great delight
To my creator...

I argue with my maker...
Each day
In good humour...

I wake each night in
Wonder... When all of
Time is still...

It's at these hours when
I remember that
My very existence is
A miracle.

It's so true, what a miracle it is.

I just hope we are all making some kind of progress.. in the end.
