To know there is no freedom, you must have tasted freedom and to know there is no love, you must know what love feels like to be deprived of it.
It's all a ruse and a reminder that it doesn't need you to believe in it and God is going "ah well, your loss - see if I care".
It's just a rough patch...a 'blah moment' and as soon as the wind changes, it will blow more good things your way.

This resonated deeply with me...especially with having guides that have fun at my expense. It's true they have my best interests at heart, and they've given me solid advice, hell they even gave me a dream where I swam with them which was cool, but they're orca type beings and be damned they've got a cruel, predatory side to them. They'll try anything in the book to make me move...even resorting to nightmares and fear to try and motivate me.
I have currently quit because doing what I'm supposed to be doing and going with the current, is a lot harder than fighting said current. Funny thing is, my guides give me more hell when I'm actively moving with the current than when I'm not. Makes no sense to me, but I'm sure the Universe is just laughing it's derriere off at me at me trying to understand anything.
I wonder if that's more common than I think?

@Kristi....I think it is more common then you think. Some of us right here have that same kind of experience.
Thank goodness that they are at least funny. I appreciate the humor and that is one thing that makes it tolerable. I can't get too bent out of shape if I am slightly amused.

Then quit :) You do have a choice. And if this particular "path" is right for you, maybe you'll get drawn back in later through circumstance.
Everyone can take a break to rest. I do sometimes. I don't consider myself a lightworker or anything of the sort, but I know I give away a lot of energy without meaning to, because my heart and spirit are geared up to try and protect and care for others' growth and wellbeing. It's just in my "light DNA."
I have days when I just yell at the sky..."I'm done! Leave me alone, I want a rest!"
So everyone leaves me alone, all the angels, God, the energy flow stops. I just rest until I want to go back to it. If I decided not to go back nobody would drag me back in. Give yourself permission to quit, that's the key. :)

I know this problem. I also want to quit, energetically. I could quit with giving a resignation note, but that is not the right way to do it. Universe should support me and it doesn't.
I quit in my mind, come into conflict that have the right energy and than everything comes back to way it was. I find this like manipulation some kind and it shouldn't be possible. How many people stick in what they do becouse of this?
That is not normal and shouldn't be possible. How to remove it, at least for me?

We all live for ourselves, not for others and to be heroes. So getting rid of a job that prevents you from having a regular life is imho the best thing to do.

EXACTLY THIS!!!
I have "quit" many times, and I get left alone completely until I step back into the realm of light.
I've even cried out... "ENOUGH ALREADY - MAKE IT STOP!" And it stops.
The curious thing is that whenever I want to have it all back - I just ask, and it all returns.
Maybe put in a "vacation notice" and recharge for the next term

They know when we've had enough, guides and angels ;) I've had some blazing moments with mine when I've been like...STOP doing this or I'm cutting off all contact, LOL. They stopped. and never did it again.
Nobody "up there" expects us to march on and on into infinity, holding up the world on our shoulders. When I get too stressed or upset about stuff, my guide puts me in "the sack." He will surround me with this feeling like I'm inside a big, white pillowcase, and comforted and safe! I guess it appeals to the primal part of my brain. He just leaves me in there until I calm down. It really works, it gives me a break from all the energy flinging about out there that can just exhaust a psychic if you can't shield very well, like I can't.
They should invent a spirit "Do Not Disturb" sign LOL. "Operator MIA" on a post-it note and stick it to my forehead :)

I too have a "sack" of sorts... I put on my "mirror suit" whenever I go into places where there's potential for negative or disrupting energies, and those energies just bounce off of me like I'm a reflective surface

Thanks for understanding.
I would settle for a pillowcase. I might have a place that is more protected but confining. That makes sense.
Sometimes it is overwhelming and I usually reach that point during times of growth and progress and then it is too demanding and I have to object.
If you don't say anything then people (guides) will take advantage of you more and more if you are the errand boy. There are only 24 hours in a day and they expect overtime. That isn't right.
That is my way of calling for the pillowcase equivalent I guess.

Hi Rozie,
Maybe you just needed a 6 months vacation twice a year.
Kidding aside, you know you are needed and somehow obligated to do so, people and friends appreciate you for being so helpful and really you are a great help to your clients as well. There are only few people who do what you do and you are special.
I think you just have to take some time off and let your self go and enjoy the things you wanted to do.
Have some R & R.
I wish you all the best!
