Kundalini and Guru
as far as I have read (atleast from Sidhhar songs), it is mentioned that Kundalini should be raised only after Guru's guidance. What is the actual meaning of this?
Should we have to wait for our Guru? In this modern time, how do I believe the trustworthiness of Guru's (as more fake ones there).
Thanks.

First get to know him, that you like him and trust him.
A real guru isn't about talk. He would be able to help move that energy within your body. Not with having you doing some technique either.
If he can't do it with his mind he is not a real guru.

Raising kundalini when your not ready for it can cause all sorts of problems. You don't necessarily need a guru since teachings are available if you look for them these days so you can do the appropriate preparations on your own. The hard part is knowing when your ready and that is when a guru or at least someone familiar with kundalini energy comes in handy. The biggest issue with kundalini is if your not strong enough to balance it. But how do you know when your strong enough? A guru already knows how strong kundalini is and can therefore compare your strength to tell you when your ready and possibly what you need to do to get there if your not yet.
I did the preparations on my own and waited as long as I could before waking it up which I only did when I needed it to help someone since I had no way to tell if I was ready or not. It worked for me since I was well and truly ready but since I had no guru I didn't know that. I have since learnt to work with the higher levels of it as well.

Not sure exactly what your asking velan. If you mean how did I personally know that I was ready....then I didn't know until after I raised it and used it's energy to heal someone else that was having trouble with their own kundalini. I knew I was ready because it worked. I was able to direct the flow of energy and rebalance the other persons kundalini energy into a more stable pattern. I was taking a risk. If i hadn't been strong enough then i would have ended up in the same situation the other person was in.
It's not all strength though... you also need to clear blocks and develop awareness and focus and balance etc. Kundalini can activate abilities you didn't know you had. If you don't have some basic energy management skills coping with them can be just as problematic as the kundalini itself. There's a lot to learn if you want to be ready.

So, the analogy can be made to giving birth for the first time - yeah, you can 'go it alone' but if any complications arise, you are basically on your own to deal with it.
Having a 'guru' around or a qualified Yoga teacher, Shaman, Reiki practitioner etc is basically recommended just in case things head south quickly - which can occur...and if they are intuitive and qualified enough, they'll be able to see what has gone wrong and be able to remedy the situation, or even just be there to make sure the whole process and the transition goes smoothly.
Also, raising Kundalini is a very delicate thing and you must be in the right environment for it to happen to best effect. It's like taking a drug...you need 'soft things' around like cushions, beautiful music/mantras, incense and people who can help and guide you up, down and through it to avoid any 'bad trips' that may result.

I'm not typical. I avoided it for about ten years after I first found out about it. That was time to get stronger and clear blocks from my chakras and the channels between them. When I did raise it it was maybe ten seconds to raise and held for perhaps ten minutes. but most people take longer and some do it in stages rather than raising it all at once like I did. The first time I kept it internal since I had a purpose to direct it towards. The second time was a more typical kundalini experience with the transcendence past the crown chakra elements.

There is a deeper understanding of energy that is far more beneficial if you are open to it, that every cell of your body are constantly and consciously communicating through your physical apparatus with your inner being (your absolute well-being); and what you should listen to is whether or not you are in alignment with your inner being. Kundalini in itself is just a focus of this energy that flows through your whole body into a narrow part of you. If you simply tend to yourself by being in alignment with your immanent happiness, then your whole body will blossom into a prime example of your absolute well-being.
