Holey Stone

Whilst out walking the other day I found a stone with a hole all the way through.

I've had a wee look around Google and found out some things about them.

I was wondering if anyone had any information they'd like to share about them?

hi! from what I gather, it is said that one can see a faery while looking through one of these kinds of stones.

I found it in what can be described as a magical time and since finding it lots of things have been revealed and enhanced within my path.

How beautiful :-) I think it was no cooincidence in finding that stone. Actually, when you think of it- it's not very common to find a stone with a hole within it.

It is very true that these stones are said to enhance and reveal the Faery and probably , for that matter, other dimensions, so I believe the Great Spirit arranged for you to find that right before you as a sort of message indicator for you. Wether or not they actually work is another matter, but the fact that you were led to find one is a message for you in itself and no cooincidence. I believe the Faery had alot to do with that as well.

I hadn't heard of a stone with a hole within it ? Wow !

( I saw my brother in law today .....(my departed sisters husband .. been avoiding my feelings Jo .. will email soon ok ...first contact since her funeral )

There's some interesting posts there

The other amazing part was that they are common on beaches and moors, yet I found it in my local park.

I received a message to look at the floor at one part whilst walking up a slight incline, we then walked round again and I received the same message only this time I found the stone.

Within days there was a channeled message on here about the Fairy Queen.

I cleansed the stone and received a personal message whilst meditating with it.

I have now placed it where I can see it each day and when the time is right I will work with it more.

They are called Hag Stones and were used to scare off hags [witches]. You were supposed to hang them on your bedhead to protect from incubus and succubus, and in your stable to stop witches from taking your horse and riding it to death. Dorset fishermen still hang them on the prow of their boats as protection,

I find them on a local beach where I sometimes also find bits of amber

The holes in the stone are "drilled" by a marine worm.

Just as an add-on, according to old folklore, scattering ordinary pebbles around your house was said the prevent a witch from entering.

It's a bit of a fuzzy pic, taken on a naff camera phone, although you can see it ok,,,

Quick question, how do you suppose a marine worm got into a local park?

Or perhaps it's part of the history, where I come from was marshland of old,,,
