I always dream about losing

I always dream about engaging in a fight but then I end up losing because I don't have the right equipment or power.

For instance, I dreamed yesterday that I was in a war, everyone in that dream have guns, except me.

Another instance, I dreamed that my opponent was about to attack me but I don't have any powers so I lost. (I know its a little bit funny. LOL)

Anyone who knows the meaning of this? It bothers me because it keeps on reoccurring to me (but in different settings).

I would say you possibly have a pattern in life where people tend to get the better of you. Shoot outs in dream can sybolize verbal arguments or shooting someone down with words. Dreams tend to be overly dramatic for effect. Humans use to be in a life or death struggle in the world but since our life isn't usually in mortal danger we have transferred that fear to the emotional state but the whole survival of the fittest still prevails in the form of competition. It's highly prevalent in modern society especially for those who grow up playing video games. A part of you may feel you don't have game or the skills to win at life but life is not a completion to be proven or won. Sometimes we will win and sometimes we will lose. The less we identify who we are with being a winner or loser the better we will feel about ourself and the less we will need to get the better of anyone else. It can be hard to break the habit of being competitive because it's linked in with our primal survival instinct but I just try to tell myself that life isn't a competition and it seems to help. We are all important and valuable regardless how often any of us wins or loses.

It is also possible that you are overwhelmed by certain situations in your life.

You are so kind. Thank you for such heartwarming words! I am now reminded of my value as a person :)
