within minutes she contacted me and said the crow was sitting by her window.
but when I meditate I only see the golden eagle and the wolf standing with me,

Thank you Native spirit.

I hesitated to use the word (Kinnikinnick) since there are

I did mean the red willow inner bark base plant blend with other herbs.

Is this the same as you were mixing or was it your own blend.

There is also this plant which is smoked in the NW which goes by Kinnikinnick.

A Bear medicine healing song.
Which includes the Pipe (Cannupa)
We have done many healing ceremonies with the Bear medicines
revolving around the Pipe.
The Bear teaches the plants to be used.

Quote:
The next song is Maṫo pejut̄a wiċak’u olowaƞ, a Bear
Medicine-giving song. Offering the pipe, giving medicine, and encouraging
the patient are steps the song texts record.
.....Maṫo Pejut̄a Wiċak’u Olowaƞ.....

The messages from Spirit and the connectedness of all things.
Truly a blessing, when these things connect.

The Sacred Pipe made of red Pipestone(Catlinite) only comes from
a place called Pipestone Minnesota.
The Pipestone is a metamorphosed mudstone.
I have heard 2 different stories of it's origins.
One saying it is the blood of the Sioux people mixed with mud.
The other saying it is the blood of the buffalo mixed with mud.

One of the main reasons I decided to talk about the Pipe is because
of the times we are in.(This is my comfort zone)
So if there are Pipe carriers out there or you know a Pipe carrier.
Please ask or send your prayers, in this time of need.
Of course I include all other praying peoples with your own
prayer Ways to send your prayers and voice to ask for a good outcome
in this time of need.(Many things are needed at this time)
This is what I ask.
I ask it as humbly as I can, and leave the outcome to Wakan Tanka (The Great Spirit)
and all His wonderful helpers and Creations.

ImthatIm, I hope you do not mind my posting this here. I found this on a news feed I follow.

short story, told by the ancient tribe in Hopi Nation, Arizona:

The Creator said, “I want to hide something from the humans until they are ready for it. It is the realization that they create their own reality.”

The eagle said, “Give it to me. I will take it to the moon.”

The Creator said, “No. One day they will go there and find it.”

The salmon said, “I will bury it on the bottom of the ocean.”

The Creator said, “No. They will go there, too.”

The buffalo said, “I will bury it on the Great Plains.”

The Creator said, “They will cut into the skin of the earth and find it even there.”

Grandmother who lives in the breast of Mother Earth, and who has no physical eyes but sees, said

“Put it inside of them.”

And the Creator said, “It is done.”

A very wise friend told me this the other day and then there was this short story.

I looked for an author and found it might be an ancient Hopi story.

Anala

I would love to read and share in anything
you care to share.

I did run across a similar saying online one time.
I do like it.
Also the story of the black wolf and white wolf
that lives in us comes to mind.
Even though many doubt the wolf story is of native origin
I still like the teaching.

I am thankful for your kindness and generosity of your spirit.

I like the story of the two wolves also. A timely lesson to remember, thank you!

Adding a video of pipe songs sung by Archie Lame Deer.
25 mins. video
Recording is old with a bit of static.
These are old songs that have been sung this way
for generation after generations.
They are presented in a teaching method with English translation
or interpretation.
