Complimentary meditation for acupuncture treatment?

I went to the acupuncturist today and meditated after the needles were all in and I literally felt like I was nailed to the table. It was interesting. I shifted from a breathing attention meditation to a chakra meditation and my chakras got goose bumps as I worked my way up. It really help me think beyond the pain and focus more.

I did notice that my mind was more grounded and inward and I could not see out my third eye chakra. This was a surprising result.

I have a few more sessions in the up coming weeks. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a type of meditation that might be complimentary to the acupuncture? Thanks!
