Can anyone give me a few clues on the principles of Druidry ? I am very drawn to nature & someone said I should explore druidry as it may be relevant ?
Please excuse my ignorance

There's different kinds of modern Druidry. Many of them with different emphasis and approaches to what it means to be a 'druid'.

Some groups take a more philosophical based approach based off Iolo Morganwg's original attempt to revive his own vision of who the druids were (which is admittedly, radically different from the reality).
Whilst others take a more historically focused path.

Some notable groups are:

http://www.adf.org/core/ ADF is a polytheistic, American based group that focuses on Indo-European pre-Christian religions, in addition to the solely Celtic flavor of most Druid organizations out there.

http://www.keltria.org/ splinter group of the above.

http://www.druidry.org/ one of the older organizations that have a more general, philosophical approach.

There's probably more I can dig up if you need me too. But those are some of the first that come to mind.

Finally, if you're a Celt-o-phile who's interested in the beliefs of the ancient Celts, you can't beat http://paganachd.com/faq/ they have lots of answers to CR (Celtic reconstructed paganism, which includes the original culture of the druids). And they have MARVELOUS book lists about various Celt-related subjects.

Hope that helps. Just remember, 'druidry' is a pretty broad term with many meanings to many different people. So no ones beliefs or opinions are reflective of all self-proclaimed druids nowadays.
