How does a Capricorn experience bliss? Is it possible? Seems like a matter / anti-matter reaction or something would be a likely result.

I've been re-thinking my attitude torward bliss after the discussions that running started. There was something about bliss that always bothered me. I hate to say it but the best way to describe it for me as a Capricorn is to say that bliss seems like an irresponsible waste of time :)

This is an absolute Capricorn response, ha. Capricorns are realist and logical thinkers and they are ruled by planet Saturn. Saturn is an incredibly disciplined energy, one that rules with structure and order. Saturn makes us aware of the need for self-control and boundaries. Tis, why Saturn is also considered to be ruled by the archetype of the Devil ( it is represented as the Devil in Divinity). Not literately, in a non duality sense, It reminds us when too much of a good thing is well.... evil, unhealthy, obsessive and self sabotaging. So Saturn energy reminds us to get back in balance. It can be a harsh energy to feel, especially for other signs that naturally flow into their emotions like water signs.

As far bliss in general, I agree with you to an extent. I am grateful for the experience when it occurs, however, it's not an element that is crucial or necessary to my self development. I do fine without it and I am very content being in a state of peaceful silence

Capricorns are not required to give explanations for their thoughts,deeds or actions,capricorns invented bliss,in fact capricorns are a self contained unit,they function on a different level/wavelength to other signs,the have an inbuilt bliss meter,locked on to the highest point on earth,where only the hardy mountain bred goats can climb,this is bliss for the Capricorn, to reach the top of the heap,to be the king of the hill,the goat is hard working and earnest in their pursuit,they never give up,bliss to the Mighty Goat is yesterdays news,he has new mountains to climb,always forward,forever onward towards some goal,something other Sun signs think impossible has already been accomplished by the Mighty Goat,usually whilst the other signs are sleeping!

you know those moments you have when you read something and the penny drops? well this just happened and it was a loud drop!! thank you
as a pisces with heavy cap energy. i see these as our lessons. saturn ruling cap to keep them a little in check and not to go too far into blissful laa laa land where pisces LOVES to be. its a little conflicting for me. I see also the sun connected to our ego self. revolve around our sun sign qualities, more illuminated. i'm not a sun in cap. i'm a sun in Pisces. i'm a moon in cap which is how i am emotionally and i'm a venus in cap, how i love and being Pisces with major connection to emotions and love the cap in these areas pulls me back from being completely unicorn rainbow air in another reality. i hear the capricorn father moon energy in my ear telling me 'it's not practical! settle down with these emotions. please don't get embarassing, please, it doesn't look stable! it wont be taken seriously!'

Haha. You know what, Inika, I am similarly like you in many ways and you described well the checks and balances of water and ground signs in our charts. I have logical Capricorn Sun but my moon is in Cancer which is a water element. Venus in Aqua. I know from the surface I appear really ...well. Capricorn ( blah ) but deep down into my deep core and subconscious is a swamp pool of gooey emotions, and a lot of it. However, like you say, I have Father Capricorn energy reminding me to snap back to reality. What a party pooper Capricorn is, haha

It has been kind of a revelation listening to both of you talk about the other aspects besides Capricorn sun sign. I always identified so strongly with being a Capricorn that I never thought seriously about my Gemini moon sign. I had been told this was to help me not be so severe. Now I see why I have had such an inner conflict going on my whole life. My Capricorn self is completely outraged and furious at me for Gemini traits like indecisiveness and unpredictability. And to be two-faced. Completely unacceptable. It was like some kind of cosmic Stockholm syndrome which shaped my identity so that I only supported the Capricorn traits instead of allowing me to be myself. But it seems if I can work this out it can be a kind of superpower allowing me to be in the world but not of it. Thank you both for helping me to see this.

This is an ongoing lesson for Capricorns, knowing that there is more then one way of doing things and even though their way is usually right, it does not mean that they have to impose their ways on others.
Capricorn Deep Inside:
Capricorns have this sense of melancholy and necessity for structure and work because inside they feel they are unworthy and need to continuously prove their worth. Once they realize that all they need is self-love, door will open and they will see the world in a new light, one that allows for pleasure and guilt-free fun.

Capricorns most important need is security, financial and material security. This is the driving force behind their ambitious character and all other personality traits of desire to succeed. They are very concerned with their public standing and their prestige. Capricorns are loners but they also need to feel appreciated, but they are excellent at hiding this truth.

Capricorns are very self contained and they have many faces they present to the world, they are known as aloof and indifferent but this is them concealing themselves from the world, unfortunately, they may never know who they really are. This causes feelings of insecurity and causes them to question their own self worth.

Capricorns make it difficult to get close emotionally because once they let someone in, they do not want to let them go and emotional connection makes them feel vulnerable yet satisfied at he same time. This is an ongoing internal conflict of contradictions inside the Capricorn's mind.

my favorite British artist Zayn Malik 1-12-1993 ♑️ is a Capricorn and I'm glad he is because that fits him perfectly. Zayn also has his Moon sign in Virgo and Rising sign in Pisces.
I have a fictional story in my head about the Zodiac signs being Goddesses and Gods .
