In this world we have to accept some stuff like accidents, nasty diseases, the twin sister of life: death, getting old, how to deal with evilness, etc.

Unfortunately we can't protect 24/7 our loved ones.

We have to accept and overcome that, that's the way humankind has grown stronger with each generation.

Thank you Lucyan28,

I guess I was feeling that I was so involved with learning more about my abilities instead of being open to the message (my cousin's injury) that I might have missed, I felt that I was being selfish...but perhaps this was an event that I was not suppose to know in advance.

I feel that I am in an awakening and need to focus on self during this time, but it is hard because I have always put "Me" last, So this is very new...this feeling urgency to "self awareness"

Sometimes its easier to blame ourselves than to accept ****** things happen in life and its no one's fault. I wonder if that is coming into it?

With self-blame, energy can be directed more specifically which provides a sense of relief in a weird sort of way. Its a short term 'solution' because it comes part n parcel with guilt.

Horrible things happen, is all. There is pain in acknowledging our own vulnerability at such times.

I happened to do a little healing, as in remote and towards others, yesterday and Mum was kinda cool, as in accepting of it, afterwards and was happier whereas dad rung me up later and kinda accused me of some stuff.

What this may mean is Mum is more willing within what might be her higher self whereas Dad is less able to accept interference as in his lessons are his own and not mine to alleviate... people are like that as in we're all different and some want outside help and so the call goes out and some don't so there is no call.

The simple fact that a branch fell off a tree should be telling because the synchronicity involved in having a tree branch fall and someone under it at the time it did is quite a miraculous thing and despite the pain involved it might pay to realise this person has their affairs in good order to have timed something so well.

Mr. Interesting, I do agree that some are more open to receive healing than others...funny thing is that the ones who are not as open tend to blame the healer...
Oh, and my cousin...She was holding the ladder for someone who was cutting a tree limb on her property, and she feels like her life is a mess right now...I told her that maybe nature was trying to knock some sense into her...you know like "Stop, and pay attention" :)

I'd say you got that right as in things falling on your head or butting into things with your head is a fair indication one is in it, the head, far too much!
