I hope you give yourself the opportunity to read and enjoy the examples provided in these responses to Memo's question, and throughout Spiritual Forums (there are thousands of experiences)!
As to being new to this idea of Affirmation, consider that you've actually been using affirmation ALL your life. How?
Consider the workings of all the events that preceded your ability to ask this question.... in this Forum.
You are being led to answers to your question, in a place that existed BEFORE you even knew it was available. How?
The idea of Affirmation is the conscious affirming that what you desire, already exists for the asking!
....such as you being led here, to Spiritual Forums, getting an affirmative  answer!!
