Hello…
I have been reading posts on this forum for awhile, and finally decided to sign up. I'm a fairly reserved person, and have had to build my way up to posting.
I joined this forum for multiple reasons: 1) I am an academic and my social circle consists mostly of people who do not understand many of the things I experience or believe. 2) I used to have a very strong "connection" to things I could not understand… and then I started having scary things happen and I prayed for it to stop, and it did. Now I am ready to be more open again but am not sure how to get back to where I was. And, 3) I have a desire to learn and appreciate more about whatever it is that I experience, and to hopefully understand it.

Welcome to the forum, I look forward to hearing your new exploration of the spiritual world. I am guessing that you are now ready for what frightened you later on. Well, with the fine people around here perhaps you will have more understanding and appreciation of what is happening so that you will not feel so fearful. I am actually publishing a book with my own revelations that might help you when clearings begin to happen in your life. Fear of the unknown can be quite powerful, but with all knowledge on here it wont remain that way for long.
