Dream in which my car was driving itself

The start of my dream I was at work. In waking life, I work in a stockroom which is where I was in my dream. I found myself to be really tired while at work so I decided I would take a nap. I got some big pillows and set up a blanket for me to lie on. I began to doze off into this heavy sleep which I was actually aware of as I was sleeping, I felt very comfortable and I was breathing very slowly. I then heard someone call to tell me there was a customer at the back door to pick up their merchandise. I got to the back door and there were multiple customers, I was the only one back there able to help them. They were running around and I was running around, I didn't actually help them. I was then on the sales floor placing chairs around tables for those who didn't want to sit on stools. One guy on particular asked to sit on something higher, I replaced most of the stools with all the chairs I could find so I had to look harder. I eventually found one and brought it to him. I was then riding my bike to my moms house and once I rounded the corner I saw that my car was pulling out of my driveway. At first I thought it was my dog driving it, no big deal but I looked harder and noticed there wasn't anyone in it. I started to follow it as best as I could but it was going to fast. I began going in the direction I thought my car would go to find it. It then turned to night and I still couldn't find it. I called 911 to report my missing vehicle but they told me there wasn't anything they could to about it, I felt annoyed and realized it was up to me. I then saw a car crash into a hedgerow thinking it was mine as it was the same model and color, when I got up there to check it out, it was a completely different color and the license plate was different. A woman standing outside asked me if it were mine, I told her now and that I was still looking for my own.
Basically, I think I've had the same type of dream before. My car begins driving itself away from me and I can never catch up to it or find it, I always seem to associate it with the paranormal in my dream too. I was wondering if anyone could give me insight about what the meaning of the driverless car means, or about my dream in general.

Being at work this is something you are are personally working on. It isn't actually related specifically to your job but to a habit you have of trying to please everyone. This sends you into a tailspin trying to be there for everyone and not being able to do so because you are spread too thin. I always have to laugh at our dreams that seem so logical at the time but upon waking are hilarious. The fact you thought it was OK for your dog to be drivings was just funny to me but it means you have become Ok with trying to please others when it comes to your friends and loved ones but the habit has taken a life of its own and is driving you even without you being conscious of it. Essentially it has become a trait you hold that is a bit of a detriment to you. It isn't your job to be everything to everyone. It is important for you to find your own life on your own terms and worry less about what others think you should say or do. And it is indeed something you have to overcome on your own. So look inside and find what it means to live your life for you.
