guides like angels do they come from us?

hiya all,

Has anyone ever thought that they are the reason for their guides such as angels. The mind is a powerful thing and during psychology today I got thinking that we may have made our guides mentally. We give them forms and names becuase it helps us to understand better in theory, we may even create them out of fear. On a more interesting note it may be possible that we created ourselves. Many theories but it may be that we have guided ourselves from the beggining. What do you guys think am I unsane lol?

I believe that they are not created by us purely because information given to me by my guides when I am channelling energy working on & with clients I could never know. I just have to trust that the information given is accurate it can be names of deceased family members who are around them, it can be a message to tell them that they need to seek medical advice there have been many instances & the information does not emanate from me but through me.

I think with physcology it does tend to work on the negative & looks for logical solutions.

Me I just trust it is what it is.

Interesting idea. My first thought (bearing in mind i am VERY new to this) was that the information people get from their guides must mean they are REAL, how would they get that kind of information.
THEN...... i thought, (again please bear in mind i am new!!) that we are all part of the same thing, the same conscience, so the knowledge is there for us and maybe we create these guides and angels as a tool to retrieve this information. What an excellent tool to have if that is true.
But then again, there are people out their that are so very adept at this they wouldn't need to use these tools if that’s what they are!

Either way i like the idea of having guides and angels to call for help and knowledge - - - So my belief is that they are real.

Moonflower I agree psychology does look too much to the logical side yet from what James has said I feel more like he has explained more of the collective conscience theory. Perhaps psychology tries to explain the supernatural and spiritual which may cause people to see things too logically. I personally do believe in angels but personally I see that everyone and everything is from the same matter. I would like to see how far this goes in so I shall meditate on my own thoughts later.
