Thanks Guys and Gals ,so funny ,yeah were all doing different things , I attract way to much attention when made up, hows that for tickets, lol and just couldnt be bothered with people looking on , like keeping it low key now going covert, I do I must admit do face exercises they are from Ellae Ellinwoods ,The Timeless Face, amazing lady and book ,the exercises not only tone and lift all parts of the face but also work on a emotional and spiritual level and reduce tension and open spiritual perspectives......The best thing one can wear is a smile....

Just thought Id add this ,My Dad unconsciously unfortunately never supported me emotionally how a father could and would make comment on my body parts alot being too big ,not right ,not like your sister etc ,so it pretty much set me up to have to prove that I was OK and boy has that been a journey, all subconsciously ,I now know I am completely acceptable all the time because I am a beautiful child of the universe no less the trees and the stars.........I forgive him for he knew not what he did ......

To each there own. No one should feel they have to glam up but personally for me I love to primp, it's a way to pamper myself. I work like guy so on my off time I am wearing heals subtle make up and styled to enjoy my girl side.

No one should ever feel pressured, no matter what it's the inner beauty that shines,

I've been meaning to mention face yoga, Deepsoul...
Exercising the face is just as important as exercising the body (imo)...been practicing it for a few years now, though I have to admit, the expressions are quite hilarious! But they do work!
This reminds me of a time I was in a cafe, having my coffee and admiring the figure of a woman who was standing in front of me. Her back was turned in my direction, so I couldn't see her face, though it was obvious that she spent a lot of time keeping fit...amazing figure!

When she finally turned around, I was left speechless. There stood the body of a 25 year old, with the face of a 70 year old. (though she was much, much younger)
She spent all her time and energy focusing on the body and forgot about the face....that's when I realised our facial muscles need not be neglected and began practicing face yoga religiously...

Yes and one of the major benefits in Ellaes book is the moving of emotions and increased spiritual outlook and clarity ,Thanks for the posts Hope33.... I dont do it as much as I used too cause Im really trying to move to another level ,I think a perfect face when your older in unreasonable as well as you see the facelifts and thats sad and freaky.

I just sorta contradicted myself then I mean i just do it when I feel I need it.

Haha, Deepsoul, I think we're about the same age, not that old yet, girl! so keeping our little mugs in shape is still reasonable.

I agree with facelifts looking freaky and wax figure-y...quite scary, actually...which is why a bit of face yoga is all it takes to stay in shape and keep face and body in sync with time....

The one thing I don't like though, is make up which goes all over my skin. It feels unusual and can't be healthy to have the skin all covered up with things like primer, foundation, powder, blusher, etc. The skin needs to breathe to have a healthy complexion.

Hearing you Tobi......Maybe Hope Im 47 this year ,at this time so so challenged , been chronically ill and had so much spiritual awakening and its still happening full on ,Id like it to slow down a little and feel a little more centered ,even six months ago I was as tight as all over and people would say your kidding your only about 30yrs old ,I was practically bed ridden for 4mths and havent been able to do a stick of exercise for six ,so needless to say Im looking very natural, and insomnia is so awful ,I dislike this disease in one way as Ive lost so much of who I was Its still an effort to get through each day ,but then who was I and how much it has revealed of a me thats been so in survival mode, not that I havent been trying to live Love all my life ,I truly think that is true but it was from a limited view and there is so much more I need to know and understand for me come into my true self.....

sorry bit off topic there...I guess Im trying to identify more with my spiritual self than my physical self maybe some can have all but for me Im called to release that part of me to a degree ,maybe I have more issues there too ,my husband is a very jealous man and I dont wish to upset him anymore ,sounds a bit weak I know but Im doing it from a level of respect for him too ,also you just get sick of the vampires that want to suck your energy, I just dont want to play anymore ,I want to serve God ,my family and myself quietly and intimately and compassionately........

Aww, Deepsoul...(((hugs)))
I get where you're coming from and commend you.
You know, thinking back, I went through a similar stage about 15 years ago, where I had no secular interests, whatsoever. ( but still wore makeup lol)
This lasted a number of years...but clashed with everything and everyone around me. It was a difficult time, but slowly, I learned to incorporate my spirituality into my otherwise social daily life in order to keep the balance and avoid confrontations...

Wishing you strength to carry on and find your balance as well...Hugs to you, sweetie.
