New to this... Think I had an awakening!
Hi all. I'm Adam...
Recently I decided to quit drinking and smoking and thus had lots of unclouded thinking time to myself. I struggled at first with had anxiety and kept for some reason thinking of death and a chilling thought of there being absolutely nothing after. Just an eternity of darkness. This was very unnerving and sent chills of unrest throughout my body. Instead of turning back to drink I decided to do some self hypnosis therapy to cure anxiety. After a week or two the darkness thought lifted and I got an overwhelming spiritual thought. Almost like I knew everything and there was no worry. I just felt amazing. Then I started following a guy called Ralph Smart on YouTube and everything he talked about in his videos was Happening to me. I am not sure if the hypnosis was just outstanding or if I have really had a spiritual awakening. I've explored meditation of the third eye chakra and fell asleep. The nightmare I had was so intense I have not meditated since. I have read online that what I saw was real demons... can this be true?. Or is it just my bad emotions surficing. I lost intrest In everything accept this spirituality process. Which has faded slightly and I search for that overwhelming feeling of whatever it was, again. Any advice helpful on what has or is happening. Thank you.

It sounds like you've had a spiritual awakening, yes. So you've come to the right place!
My advice would be to ground yourself first. Read up on spiritual matters, discern whatever path feels right for you and take it from there.
Which books to start with I 'hear' you say? Try those of White Eagle and Silver Birch, or the Dhammapada.
