"Humankind's" concept of God most likely is far off the mark anyway. And has been used for centuries to instil fear and negativity, and encourage the masses to conform to man-made concepts, which have to be erroneous knowing our imperfections.
Find your own "God". I do feel there IS a Divinity, but it may not be found in the writings of men.....

There are many ideas of what God is. There are also many Gods conceived by men. They are not all designed with intent to manipulate.
You have to accept that this is not the heavens and you should not be disappointed that this place is not heavenly. Here things are relative. There will come a time when these days are considered better and the good old days. Enjoy this now because history has shown things can and do get much much much worse.
