Turritopsis dohrnii, the immortal jellyfish, is a species of small, biologically immortal jellyfish found in the Mediterranean Sea and in the waters of Japan.

I am a tree lover, loved the part of the article about the bistelcone pine. There's 2 more trees that come to mind. The Eastern white cedar, and the ginko tree. Where I live I see many white cedars that are very old ,weathered, and short. They are a natural bonsi.

You seem like a Tree expert cause you have knowledge of the various types of trees there is. I only know the common Oak tree by name.

Thanks Hallow for the information that's cool about the Ginko tree . I never knew that and I don't remember that being mentioned in my High school history class. Mind you that I graduated in 2012, so its been 7 years.

when I am feeling down I think about the old ginko tree. If a simple tree can somehow manage survive 250million+ years an atom bomb and 3 mass extinctions on the Earth's surface. I can at least make it through the day.
