No 'spirit' is ever really abandoned, because 'spirit' is immortal and all is 'spirit'.

Love of Life transcends personal 'love', and because of that requires some 'tough', seemingly callous at times, choices.

"Other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, ... "
