Hello - reiki & vipasana & motivation

Hi i practice vipassana ven.mahasi sayadaw stylr for few years

Since the practice is hard for me i dont get any "cool" experiences -
i lost motivation to practice even though i really want too (yes even just being mindful during daily activities or one minute meditation) and thought maybe if i will get some "cool" not normal experience i will get more faith in the practice

so i went to reiki did rieki 1 supose to do rieki 2 in a month from now

do i did read here about reiki practitioners tend to get cancer so that scared me - even though my teacher said that reiki cannot do any harm even without doing any "protcetions"

Any way would be great if someone here can tell me how :

1 . the fastest way to get some spiritual out of the ordinary experience (without using drugs)

2 . how to get motivation back not only to the practice but to life in general im really out of motivation for anything

I believe there is no such a thing as a direct relationship between reiki and getting cancer, maybe the fact that there are now thousands of reiki practitioners in the world makes it a statistical fact that some of them get cancer (they perhaps would have gotten it even if they hadn't been doing reiki).

However, if you are still afraid and want to do something to protect yourself while doing reiki, there is a general recommendation to do the grounding before every reiki treatment you do (especially when very ill patient is involved). Very ill patients tend to have loads of negativity/bad energies inside their bodies and auras that healers tend to absorb if they are not properly grounded. There are many grounding meditations available, you can easily find if you google them.

I can also share with you how to detect if you absorbed such a negativity from anyone, just let me know if you are interested.

Vipashyana is mindfulness meditation, the dhyan is moved through every chakra exist in our body. Its very good meditation, it ask silence most of the time of the day.

Reiki too is meditation if it worked on chakras.
