It's not wrong to be uninterested in spirituality. People have different interests. They certainly aren't damned or, even more relevant, un-enlightened. People get along just fine without it, the only people that seem to think everyone needs spirituality are those who are very interested in it.

Wow I just saw how old this thread is. Great question though!

For me it's more interesting. I've been looking at the boards and seeing the stories of how people have become awake or enlightened, but many still think in human terms. That makes me wonder how awake or enlightened they really are and is it really worth the effort? I'm not judging, each to their own after all. But it seems to be something akin to religion - they have to believe to go to heaven, they have to become enlightened or they won't evolve. Some of those people say that 'We Are One' and duality and separation are myths, but for them there are Spiritual and non-Spiritual people.

We are Spirit on an human Journey, it's kind of difficult not to be Spiritual even though you say you're not. I can see the Spirituality in the so-called non-Spiritual, my Soul is at peace with my Journey and my human side can understand the relationship between what I need as an human and what my Soul needs. I've never studied Spirituality although it does interest me, but I'm not going to bust my chops to become enlightened or awake. That will happen one day when I go back to Spirit, I won't need to study Spirituality because I'll be Spirituality. This Universe will look very different.

I am agreed with the general "spirit" of your remarks . Nicely and generously said. There are many journeys and many paths to finding Self/Spirit...as many as there are souls in existence.

I would just add that as I see it, what we need as humans and what our soul needs is one and the same. It's only the format, or, the tangibility of the "time and place" as we perceive it that changes.

Peace & blessings,
7L

Hueh, we are SO wrong,

Just look at all theses Saints in the pasts, none of them ever studied like 90% of people on here are doing. Because they realized that theres nothing to learn, to see or do in order to touch the essence of what we are. Its a waste of time in my opinion....

Develop trust and thats it;

If you need to read, do, learn,see or talk with someone, youll stumble on it someday.

Maybe my life learned my to no trust any form of human relationships but its the only way I know.

No...not wrong at all until you sense within that something is not quite right.

There is no script you must follow with a title that says, "Follow The Light".

You will find many who would love to guide you and or interpret that you are answering a romantic calling by posting as you have here...run like hell in the other direction.

No, it isn't wrong at all...and no there is no such thing as damnation......Just treat people the way you wish to be treated and you will be fine.....Most people your age don't even think about such things and why should they? You have all the time in the world to pursue or not to pursue topics of spirit, spirituality or just life in general.....

What you are really saying is;

I dont want to continue to follow everyone else road, I want to creat my own road with MY belief, feeling and truth.

Well,do it.
