Psalms and Candles

How powerful is the book of psalms? And combined with some candle burning?

I would say very powerful. This is how the Root Workers, Hoodoo practitioners and practitioners of Conjure work and it's known to be very powerful. Different coloured candles are used for different needs and wishes.

examples please... how do they use the Psalms with their work? I know in the bible days, they use the candles and many rituals, but how can you work both. I read psalms daily, how does the both work together? thank you for all responses

Well, you determine what you want to work for, choose a candle and the type of oil you need to dress it with, then choose a psalm that goes with the goal and pray over it.

I started-off my journey to practicing Candle Magic in just this way.

It is very powerful--especially in terms of calling down Divine Protection and Banishing troublesome people and their ill-wishing & ill-intentions from your life.

Yes, I agree - candle magic has always worked well for me for either banishing or bringing something in to me. I don't know if it helps me to visualize or what it is but I can almost FEEL it working

"A Little Book of Candle Magic" by D.J. Conway is a good place to start and it is (also) a guide to the properties of Colors, Stones & Crystals, Herbs, Incense, and Oils--among other things. The book is conveniently cross-referenced and affordable.

Visualization, Feeling, & Knowing...are paramount--IMHO. I believe that this kind of focus is required for these endeavors.
