The girl quickly comes down the stairs on all fours, but her body is facing the ceiling...quite creepy.
Regarding Sarian's comments about Hostel.
I find scanrios that could be true to be more disturbing than fictional horror and gore.
Hostel disturbed me far more than Starship Troopers.
In fact, i cannot recall being disturbed by any of the images in ST as it was pure fantasy, where as Hostel could actually happen.
It triggered different parts of the brain, being closer to reality.
But if you are freaked out by bugs, giant bugs being more powerful than humans, ST would be freaky.
ST was too comical in atmosphere to creep me out.
It all depends on what's inside a person that determines what freaks oneself out.
Apart from cringing at how painful it must be of a few scenes from Dreamcatcher, i enjoyed the story and visuals.
Devil's Rejects - another one of my son's picks. Only because Rob Zombie wrote and directed it.
Was not disturbed by it due to lack of atmosphere.
Oh, because i have only watched it once, that's why i did not recall it before.
And have no immediate intentions to watch it again.
Wolf Creek.
An aussie serial killer movie.
Now that creeped me out, most likely because it was all the more realistic because it was in Oz.
And the guy playing the killer....so creepy in an aussie style.
I rate his performance in the top ten of serial killer categories.
And of course, the atmosphere was well done.
