weight loss

has anyone ever tried hypnosis for weight loss with success?

I had a professor once who lost 50 pounds during one semester of classes. (5-6 months) Not only did he improve his diet, but he also mentioned he listened to meditative/hypnosis mp3's on his ipod. I was curious about his rapid weight loss, he looked better and better each week. He said he felt it truly did help him. So :) I believe it definitely can!!
A lot has to do with the positive thinking - willing mentality.
You can will things to happen! If you think genuinely each day, I will lose a pound this week.. I will lose a pound this week (or more) and believe in your words. Chances are it will happen! But of course you need to also introduce changes to either your physical activity or... healthier diet. Small changes + will = success!! The hypnosis and meditation will only help strengthen the determination.

Thank you so much for replying KattyKamille, it is very helpful! And I need to lose about 50lbs, so thats amazing he lost that much. I think I need to try it because.... I've been trying to lose weight for years, and still at the same weight (I also have PCOS), and I've realized I have a deep belief that it is impossible for me to lose weight, so I was wondering if hypnosis would help to change that belief, or at least be the cataylst I need to start a new one. Thanks!

No problem at all! I truly believe you can lose the weight :) you just need to find the right balance of things. What you eat is 70% of how to lose weight, and fitness is the other 30%. So if you're too busy or can't find time to go to the gym on a regular basis.. no worries. Start with step one. :) Try the hypnosis/meditation techniques.. to build that inner motivation and you truly need to tell yourself that you WILL lose the weight. It WILL happen.... because it will!

When you find that you are in the right place in your mind :) try to illuminate any unnecessary things that contain high amounts of salt, sugar or fat. Replace them with, fruit snacks or... raw meals with perhaps some clean meat on the side if you eat meat....

This is extreme... but it helped me lose 14 pounds in 3 weeks.
It might be difficult if you're not used to vegetables. But I can swear on it that... after the 3 weeks you feel absolutely amazing!! :) The first 3 days are hard... you crave and you might feel tired. But once you break the barrier... you are super woman! Our programming minds might not enjoy it... but believe me your body couldn't ask for a better present.


I thought I had no way out... till I tried this. All it is.. is eating 100% vegetables and fruits for 3 weeks. Afterward you can reintroduce your meats... and some other things you like :) but im sure you'll want to continue with keeping at least 60% of the things you eat raw. Your body LOVES it!

Hello,i alway's tel myself am fat,am fat.But i have too change the words into i am lookin fine.Simplicity in a diet is the best thing.Stay focus,keep a direct diet,stay in shape.Tell yourself at the end of the week how much weight you wanna lose next week.Don't make it to hard on yourself.Keep it reasonable.Repeat these words every every everyday.After a while it wil be pictured in your mind.It wil be a easyweight loss.Everything is possible!so your thoughts too!

I did the VGB app on my ipad, and every day I did it, I ate really well the next day. I lost 20 pounds (one and a half stone) while I was doing it. But maybe theres a chance that The days where I was feeling strong I was more likely to listen to it. I missed a few days out, and ate bad the following days, but maybe thats because I din't have the will to listen to it. I have gained 10 pounds back since I did it two months ago. I will listen to it again tonight :)

I see a bunch on you tube . It may have a subliminal message like , eat some yogurt not a bacon cheese burger , go to the gym work out , ect.

After thinking on this for a bit . People with wight problems may have past life issues . D. Sutphen found people with weight problems , fat and skinny , had been members of the Donner party , where they turned to cannibalism to stay alive . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donner_party

p.s. The point I am making hear , if a weight problem is from a past life event , the only to deal with it is to find that event and let it go . Any hypnosis that does not deal with it is not going to work .
