Pet Intuition

Hello friends, new here to the forum and happily dancing around different topics to explore.

I would love to talk about your pets and personal experiences with their intuition!

I've been listening to some podcasts and recently in many discussions there's been mention of spiritualism, pets, and how pets can be/are highly sensitive to energy - Does your dog or cat ever just look up to the corner of the ceiling and actively acknowledge something is there? but there "isn't"? Or even when they say, trust their intuition?

My own experience isn't anything crazy, but I believe my dog is sensitive to energy, auras, and has an incredible intuition. I take him with me on errands or to pet friendly restaurants/breweries as often as I can. He is incredibly observant and very intelligent. he reads people before he reacts and you can see and feel his body doing it.

Most people who approach him he is happy to indulge in being pet and getting tummy rubs. Every once and a while though, someone will be walking by, standing in line behind us, approaching him to pet, etc... and he makes it known he is NOT happy about it.

This person could be a perfectly innocent, normal looking individual and he's done it to both men and women. He will bark twice at them to warn them, and even if the people shrug it off and walk away, his eyes follow and lock on to these individuals until they are no longer in site or have left the general area.

He's young (1.5) but I don't tribute his age to his reactions. I humbly believe he is one of those pups who just have an incredible intuition and act upon it when he feels it's necessary. Though it's just "warnings" now, who knows... he could do great things one day.

I don't own a pet but i take care of one. I don't know if they have sharp intuition. For example, other people's pets may react differently around me. I guess it depends. On both my mood and the pets. Most are friendly around me. I remember i gazed into a German Shepherd's eyes and it started barking aggressively. I guess he/she took it as a challenge. I think they just have stronger senses so they may pick up on things we don't. Also humans are more likely to ignore intuition and rely more on thinking while our thoughts are often clouded with emotion. Even those that say they have strong intuition i find out later are just lying to themselves.


It seems like pets are also loyal and protective of owners who mistreat them. While some pets may even attack an owner who treats them well. So.....

My cat is very intuitive he looks around my bedroom as he sees my husband there, if the kids are feeling down he lays by them,

What experiences do you have with your pets?

Yes. I believe without a doubt animals are extremely intuitive. Your pup is a prime example of this. Because he loves you so much and is protective of you, he is attuned to any threat he perceives.

My cat is highly intuitive. For instance when she is outside, and I start thinking about her, she'll immediately come home.

Our relationships with our pets is a sacred bond.
