I am not a vegan but, its no shock that you can build strength and fitness while a vegan. But i am not somebody who eats loads of animal meat morning noon and night.
1. The proteins in the food, because you can eat them without cooking them will not be denatured. This is more beneficial for the body, and more usable.
2. Nuts, Grains, Lentils have plenty of antioxidants. That will help your body repair on a cellular level, aging and repair starts on a cellular level anyway.
3. I don't agree with people soaking grains and nuts, you are missing out on the IP6.
But if you are Vegan its the fat that you need, i would eat plenty of nuts to get plenty of fat, Alage etc...
I am going to order to nuts anyway haha in bulk from somewhere.
Herchel Walker has been a Vegan for most of his life, he is into his 50's and is still in immense shape. This is him at 48 years of age, but i may also add he trains in a fasted state. You only have to youtube him, there are plenty of documentaries about him.
