Anytime one writes about themselves they make themselves vulnerable to some degree or another. The more honest and personal the more vulnerable. The reaction one gets, whether wanting one or not, if one gets one at all, is rarely going to match the spirit of the post. So I am not personally surprised at your reluctance. To be honest, my posts have grown much less personal over time, through my writing may have not. I have found that what I like to do is to write what I want or need to write, and when I am done, I may post it or not, the writing is the point and can be a very useful thing. Some can be for scrutiny, some can be for the journal. At least that is how I justify this exercise in procrastination to myself.

Hi, and yes I know what you mean about evolution, progress of where we will be at in years to come. I only have to look at everything that has been " invented" during my lifetime to not be able to comprehend where we will be in another 50/100 years, never mind a million!!... Please do continue to write, please don't be nervous. I would love to read more from you...

To Treeplanter. I would like to thank you. Can you see what has happened here?? Your story...You have drawn people towards you , to the point that we are able to have a chuckle over who "gets there " first. You have created something here that is meaningful. So please do have the confidence to continue . Only this morning I posted a tribute to an auntie that has passed away from coronavirus. I was not going to look at this forum anymore today. But I did.... And it's your thread that drew me.. again. In doing so, I was able to smile during these dark darks. And you did that... You are such a lovely warm person ( and Ketzer I suppose , even though he like an annoying bluebottle!!).. ... Thank you ..

Well now, I am not so proud as to accept charity, in whatever color package it comes. I don't know what a bluebottle is, and perhaps I should not google it.

But seriously @treeplanter. I would still urge you to write ,even if you feel you cannot share on here. It's a story worthy of the written word. I can even visualise your story as a film..and you already have the perfect title ...
