Birds in dreams

Hey I have been experiencing a lot of birds in my dreams recently I have also purchased a bird too recently. I have owned birds in the past and never noticed this. I do see Owls more than your average person but not insanely a lot. I am currently ding eye movement desensitization and reprocessing with my psychologist to help with my OCD, Depression, Anxeity and PTSD. I don't know if this has any significance? But I feel the birds have something to do to it. Any advice or info?

some times it depends on what kind of birds. The representation of a crow or raven would not be the same for an owl or sparrow. One in flight would mean different from a dead or injured one. My mother is good at dream interpreatation and I often came to her help growing up. She says animals including birds signify friends, lovers, people you know. It helps to know the color too. For example, a red bird can mean something to do with love. If an animal got hurt in your dream then a friend needs your help. Or if you got hurt in your dream and an animal came to help, a friend in real life will come to your aid. If an animal hurts you, example a dog bites or wolves chase you, you will have a disagreement with your friend or others you know. Pay attention to what your birds are doing in your dreams..flying, singing, their mood and emotions and how it corresponds to you in the dream.
The one animal you should be the most aware of are snakes. They usually signal betrayal, gossip, some one talking behind your back or working against you, ect.
If you have a strong affiliation with birds, your spirit animal or guides may be trying to get your attention :)
