In the afterlife are you there with people you only knew in your life or can you also be there with people you didn't know like famous people

I think it is place shared by many souls. So yes you could meet famous people. It is entirely possible that your had celebrity qualities in your previous lives.

My memories of the between-lives state are that people tend to hook up with whoever they come in contact with just as they do on the Earth Plane. When they first get to the Astral Plane, they often seek out the souls of people they knew on the Earth Plane, just as people who make long-distance moves on Earth seek out people they knew at their old location. However, as they do whatever they're supposed to do to prepare for their next life, they meet people doing the same things and form relationships: the same as happens on Earth when people hold jobs. And my experience is that people on the Astral talk (telepathically) about meeting famous people, but seldom have the opportunity: again the same as happens on Earth. "As Above, So Below. As Below, So Above."
