Are you saying, then, that your choice of the words making up your username has no significance, that it's just a random choice of words strung together? That you couldn't find something simple?

Uhm yes? Mind you, I'm not really creative with usernames, so my first option would be the title of a song from one of my favorite bands. With all the crazy usernames I've come across online places, I didn't think it would rub some people here the wrong way but the harm is already done I suppose.

As for your latter points it wasn't Einstein claiming anything or presenting as a psychic or prophet. It was simply my suggestion that he may have been inspired in what he did because it's taught that others have also been, perhaps still are, being inspired.

I know, but it was a reply to your statement that only a few of the many so-called real psychics would bother trying to prove themselves, to which I made my point that it isn't wise to make extroardinary claims without being able to show evidence. I wasn't refering to Einstein in the long end, as I already said that Einstein wasn't a psychic in my first post with a simple ''no''.

Actually, if you see it clearly, he did Active Meditation, using his imagination as a process to gain understanding.

Einstein was a scientist rather than a psychic. Scientists either do physical experiments where something can be measured using scientific instruments or they can do thought experiments to put forward a scientific theory. With thought experiments they use hypothetical situations to illustrate the theory. It has nothing to do with being psychic. In answer to the original post, no, I don't think Einstein was psychic.

Psychic and scientist are not mutually exclusive and he was probably unaware anyway of being inspired in what he did - if he was.

There are a lot of scientists who think psychic and scientist are mutually exclusive and I believe Einstein was one of them. I'm not sure he was inspired by anything other than pure science.
