Regular Dream Turned Into Visitation Dream

I've got a strange one; I had a dream about a deceased person; at first a normal dream. In the dream I was the new art teacher and he kept coming by and visiting me. There were other people around but I only remember seeing myself talking to him like a normal dream.

At one point we were interacting and then it became like a visitation dream; he was surrounded by a light facing me, like he was really in front of me and we were in the (dark) art room I guess. We talked briefly and then he turned around to walk away and looked back at me one last time before he went off into the light. I woke up and went back to sleep and then had another normal dream about him. That's the first time that's ever happened to me, just thought I'd share it.

Interesting, thanks for sharing. I think most visitations dreams start like this before the actual entity 'hijacks' the dream and alters it to it's own liking.

Thank you guys for your replies! Tobi, I am so grateful for that visitation dream. Slayer, I had no idea. Two of the visitation dreams that I've had didn't start out like that (or maybe I just don't remember) and two did. Thanks, that's interesting though. So does that mean they actually give you the dream or they just enter a dream you're having about them because it's the perfect time? So interesting!

I forgot, I had another dream that day too, right after the visitation dream and before the other dream about the person. It involved a relative of mine who has been gone for four years now, whom I haven't been visited by, and in this dream, someone, IDK who, told me the relative is still alive, has been alive all this time, and gave me a phone number to reach her, but told me that it was a recording and she'd take time to get back to me. I was frantic calling the number and getting the same recording, and I didn't want to wait, I just wanted to get a hold of her and make it right that I hadn't been in touch all this time. So I was trying to remember her number, the same number she had for years, to try calling that and I couldn't remember it in my dream and it was so frustrating. Then that ended and I had the second dream about the other guy. (Shrugs).
